About T4 High Speed Steel Round Bars
Many industrial clients use high speed steel as they have the high alloy content. The primary chemical is tungsten with the addition of molybdenum. A minimal amount of chromium, cobalt with vanadium, completes their structure. The carbon content is around 0.65% of the total weight of the product. T4 high speed steel round bars have a superb hardness at room temperature of at least 64 HRC. They are exposed to heat treatment which generates complex metallic carbides in high quantities. These carbides are vanadium carbides or tungsten carbides which are released in steel substrate. These carbides make the round bars very tough.
By checking corrosion resistivity and wearing test, T4 high speed steel round bars are the best preference. Being a member of the Stainless Steel family, they have excellent tensile strength. The yield power is also very high for these round bars. The basic alloy of these round bars protects them from getting reduced.
